King Leaves Carat To Join EMAP On Air As Sales Director

Dave King, broadcast director of Carat London, has joined EMAP On Air to fill the newly-created post of sales director. King will oversee the day to day running of the business as well as taking over some responsibilities currently being handled by EMAP On Air’s managing director Tom Toumazis. King will report directly to Toumazis who, in turn, will focus on the future strategy of EMAP On Air.

King currently directs all buying and planning of radio and television at Carat London, the UK’s largest media specialist, and will bring 15 years’ of broadcast and client experience to EMAP On Air. Commenting on the appointment, King says: “This is a fantastic opportunity to join the broadcast industry and to work with a young and forward thinking company. As a customer, I have worked with Tom and the team since Emap On Air launched and have been thoroughly impressed with the way they operate.”

King’s starting date at EMAP On Air has yet to be confirmed.
