Starcom MediaVest Group UK has appointed David Pandit as its new head of data and analytics, where he will be responsible for all data related services for SMG clients and the agency in general.
Reporting to co-CEO, Steve Parker, and global head of strategy and analytics, Steve Simpson, Pandit will lead a total of six teams including audience segmentation, marketing effectiveness and data management, bringing with him experience from Karmarama, emnos and BBH.
Commenting on the appointment, Parker said: “I’m delighted David is joining the team as his appointment is further evidence of our ongoing and rapid evolution as the agency of innovation and collaboration.
“David, and his team, will create a first-rate service through a smarter and more joined up approach to data and the interpretation of it, which will substantially benefit the agency, and ultimately our clients.”
