Former Talk Commercial Director Joins MetroNetworks
Stan Park, former commercial director of Talk Radio, has joined radio news and information provider, MetroNetworks. He will fill the same role, newly-created role at MetroNetworks, and will have a seat on the company’s board.
MetroNetworks provides news, sports, traffic and travel information to over 70 commercial and BBC Local Radio Network stations across the country. In his new role, Park will be driving ad sales on the network’s TrafficLink bulletins.
Park left Talk Radio after its acquisition by Kelvin MacKenzie’s TalkCo in November last year (see More Rumblings At Talk Radio). He was also part of the management buyout team, headed by MD Paul Robinson, which failed to gain control of the speech station from owners CLT-ufa.
