As the company looks to expand UK revenues, Teads has hired Justin Taylor as its new UK managing director.
Previously managing director of MEC Digital UK and bringing with him 15 years’ digital media experience, Taylor will be responsible for driving growth in the UK market.
“The online video space is evolving rapidly and Teads is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the sector’s growth,” said Taylor.
“I’m looking forward to leading the company in the UK market to ensure Teads remains at the forefront of the industry.”
Taylor will work closely with a global leadership team including senior vice president of international sales, Jeremy Arditi, executive chairman, Pierre Chappaz, CEO Bertrand Quesada and chief strategy officer Loïc Soubeyrand, reporting into chief operating officer, Christophe Parcot.
Commenting on Taylor’s appointment, Parcot said: “The UK video advertising industry is predicted to double by 2016 and as such the UK market continues to be integral to Teads’ global strategy.
“As managing director UK, Justin’s extensive digital expertise will ensure that the UK arm of the business continues to experience the strong growth it has enjoyed over the last few years and position Teads as leaders in the online video space.”
Following Taylor’s appointment, former UK managing director, Jeremy Arditi, will focus on his duties as senior vice president international, overseeing Teads’ growth in new markets including South Korea and Japan.
The news comes as Teads is ranked the highest in the IPA’s latest online media owner survey.
