IPC Magazines has this week reported a 10.7% loss in operating profits to £29.3 million for the six months ended March 1999. The publisher’s interim results also show that revenues increased by 5.7% to £175.2 million across this period. Circulation revenues were up by 3.7%, and ad revenues rose by just 0.1%.
IPC Magazines recently renamed its five main publishing groups in a move that gave the separate divisions greater autonomy from one another (see IPC Unveils New Publishing Group Identities).
