NatMags Reshuffles Publishers To Drive Expansion

The National Magazine Company has reorganised seven of its publishers in an ‘agressive programme of planned expansion’. A number of publishers have swapped roles in an effort to stimulate fresh challenges and responsibilities.

Kevin Adams moves from Country Living to become the new publisher of Esquire magazine. NatMags says that Adams’ skills will be a major asset to the magazine which it describes as being clearly differentiated from the rest of the men’s market and ready for expansion and growth. In a straight swap, Chris Hughes, currently at Esquire, moves over to become publisher of Country Living.

Publisher of Company, Jan Adcock, now takes on the role of group publisher for the company’s parenting titles, M and Having A Baby. Nadia Dawson moves from She to Company and Vivien Cotterill leaves M and Having A Baby for She.

Austyn Hallworth becomes publisher of Harpers & Queen, moving over from House Beautiful. Jamie Bill swaps with Hallworth, moving from Harpers & Queen to House Beautiful.

Commenting on the changes, NatMags’ managing director, Terry Mansfield, says: “The changes mean that not only will our publishers be stimulated by fresh challenges but the knowledge and experience of these exceptional people can extended right across the company.”
