The Wireless Group, previously TalkCo, has announced a number of management changes following its acquisition of The Radio Partnership this week (see Talk Radio Buys The Radio Partnership).
Jonathan Goodwin, previously chief operating officer at Talk Radio, becomes group managing director of the Wireless Group. Ashley MacKenzie, moves from commercial director of sport at Talk to become managing director of the Wireless Group’s local and regional radio and Jason Bryant moves from development director to managing director at Talk Radio.
Sir David Kinloch has been appointed chairman designate of Radio Investments Ltd. (RIL), replacing Robert Stiby who retires on 30 September. RIL holds stakes in 26 radio stations, mostly through its subsidiaries The Local Radio Company (TLRC) and Radio Services.
