New-look TV Times Unveiled In £2m Campaign

IPC tx is to spend £2m on advertising to support its new-look TV Times. The regional campaign begins on 30 October and includes a television element, the first time the brand has advertised on TV for two years.

The 30-second commercials will focus on getting behind the television personality with the tagline “Nobody gets you closer to the stars.” It will feature celebrities including Claire King from Emmerdale and Simon Shepherd from Peak Practice in a variety of guises that reflect different aspects of their personal lives.

Magazine advertising, direct mail, point of sale and radio will also be part of the campaign mix, which was created by Delaney Lund Knox Warren.

Caroline Ward, managing director of IPC tx, said: “This campaign marks the second phase in our aggressive programme of development for TV Times. We unveiled just a few weeks ago a superb new look for the magazine; its bigger, brighter, glossier than ever before, and with its new digital TV listings, perfectly pitched for the modern TV viewer.”
