The Guardian Group is adding another website to its Unlimited network. SocietyGuardian.co.uk will launch in November as a news and information service for the public and voluntary sector.
The move is part of the Guardian’s continued investment in the migration of its core professional communities on lien and aims to be the UK’s primary source of public sector information on the net. It will also carry jobs advertising for the sector.
Carolyn McCall, managing director of GNL, said: “Over 21 years the Guardian has built a strong reputation as a national platform for all areas of the public sector. SocietyGuardian.co.uk will build on this reputation and provide new commercial opportunities for GNL.”
