Jurassic Park Comic Is A Dark Horse
Dark Horse International has added to its comic portfolio, with the launch today of Jurassic Park comic, an official adaptation of the movie, due for release on July 16.
Advertising manager for the title, David Jerrom pointed out to MediaTel today that although the comic will initially only have four issues there are future plans to relaunch it as ‘Rapture’ a comic currently run in the US and a follow-up to Jurassic Park.
Dark Horse is no stranger to the comic market, currently publishing Star Wars, Aliens, Dracula and Total Carnage. Jerrom indicates that Jurassic Park comic will target 8-18 year olds specifically, but the success of the movie should ensure its popularity with all generations.
Jurassic Park Comic will come out every three weeks with a cover price of 95p. It has an initial print run of 210,000.
