Andy Sutcliffe, managing director and co-founder of Cabal Communications, has left the publishing company. It is believed he left for personal reasons and has no replacement job in the pipeline. Sutcliffe founded Cabal with Sally O’Sullivan in September 1998 (see Interview – Andy Sutcliffe, Managing Director, Cabal Communications); previously the pair were partners at IPC Magazines. A third founding partner, Helen Brocklebank, also left Cabal in April last year.
The group was set to launch two new men’s magazines in the coming months (see Newsline Brief), but announced last week that the new titles will be delayed until autumn.
The company was making no comment when called by Newsline today.
