The campaign will centre on the slogan “Advice on Life, available from your local retailer” and will include direct mail and POS promotion in addition to TV. The adverts for TV consists of three 30-second and two 10-second treatments.

Woman is the top selling UK women’s weekly. Its latest ABC figures gave it a circulation of over 670,000, ahead of its sister publication Woman’s Own which, with its greater emphasis on showbiz news and gossip, is the second best seller with a circulation of nearly 570,000. This will be the first time that both titles have appeared together on one advertisement.
“It makes strategic sense to capitalise on the strength of these sister titles.” says Sandy Gale. “The dual purchase of Woman and Woman’s Own has always been high and this campaign is designed to consolidate and build this.”
