Grey Advertising Announces Restructure Plans
Grey Advertising has announced that it will establish a holding company to serve as the parent company for all Grey’s communications properties. The move will see Grey Advertising Inc becoming known as Grey Global Group Inc, while the core advertising agency will become Grey Worldwide.
Announcing the restructure plans, Edward Meyer, chairman, president and CEO of Grey Global Group said “Each of the communications companies will have their individual management structures while being able to tap the counsel and resources of the holding company.”
The establishment of the holding company will be accompanied by new management through internal promotion. The executive managing directors have been named as Neil Kreisberg, who will be group executive vice president overseeing the company’s Proctor and Gamble business; Jonathan Fox, who will succeed Carolyn Carter as Executive Vice President on Mars after a transition period; Clive Holland will continue to hold the title of executive vice president, SmithKline Beecham global account director and Joseph Celia will be executive vice president on BAT. Celia will also take on the role of chairman and CEO of G2.
