IPC Restructures Central Sales Division

IPC Advertising is restructuring its central sales division into two distinct areas, corporate accounts and business developments, as part of a new investment in its sales operations.

Commenting on the restructure, managing director of IPC Advertising, Georgina Crace, said: “Central sales was set up two years ago, and its due to its success that we are now increasing our investment in this key part of our sales operation.”

Former IPC Digital ad director Neil Perkin will head up the expanded corporate accounts division in newly created position of accounts director. Working with IPC’s new key account director, Alison Deas, he will be responsible for overseeing planning and buying for IPC’s clients across the entire IPC portfolio.

Corporate sales director, Simon Hills takes on responsibility for the enhanced business development group and will oversee new business partnerships. Newly appointed business development director, Stuart Robinson and agency sales manager, Julia Brass will report to Hills in his new role.

The new investment in sales comes less than three months after IPC Media was bought by AOL Time Warner in deal worth £1.15 bn (see AOL Buys IPC Media For £1.15bn).
