Following its management buyout earlier this year, indy media agency The Specialist Works has made two senior appointments: Katie Lobina as trading director and James Olney as head of data and analytics.
Lobina, who will sit on the agency’s board, joins from Publicis Media’s central investment practice, PMX, where she served as commercial director. At The Specialist Works she will take over responsibility as the commercial and trading lead.
Meanwhile, Olney joins from his position as data strategy director at Havas Group, where he led data strategy and digital transformation on the agency’s largest account, O2.
Both will report to managing director Tim Neligan, who said: “The Specialist Works is in the throes of a huge transformation, and we’ll continue to invest in our people to ensure we go from strength to strength after another record year, futureproofing our clients for years to come.
“Katie’s impressive background and experience in the media sector makes her the perfect person to build innovative commercial models around our clients’ needs.
