Publicis Media’s Australia and New Zealand CEO, Matt James, will be returning to London this month to take up the position of global brand president at Zenith.
He succeeds Vittorio Bonori, who was recently appointed chief executive of Publicis Groupe Italy. James, who has also served as CEO of Zenith Australia and New Zealand, is in his second stint at the advertising network after an absence of three years, having previously held the managing director role at Starcom UK in London.
“I am hugely excited to be taking on the leadership role at Zenith,” said James.
“The network celebrated its 30th anniversary this year and is a recognised industry leader with its ROI agency positioning and development in data and technology, experience planning and machine learning.”
He will report to Steve King, chief executive of Publicis Media, who said: “Matt is a highly respected agency leader, who has worked in London, Paris and Sydney and been at the forefront of driving growth for many of the world’s leading brands.
“He has achieved considerable success during his time at Publicis Media and I know that he will now take Zenith from strength to strength.”
