Emap Chief Executive Resigns

Kevin Hand, chief executive of Emap, has resigned with immediate effect from his position at the company. It is thought that he feels his position untenable due to the company’s ill-fated investment in US company Petersen.

Hand will be replaced by Robin Miller, currently chairman of Emap and previously CEO from 1985-1998. He will take on the job for the next two years. Adam Broadbent, currently a non-executive board member, will take over as chairman.

Emap released final results today in line with expectations, which showed a strong start to the year. Details to follow on MediaTel Newsline
