Conference To Discuss Future Of Digital Radio

As digital radio gains momentum the key players in the new market are being brought together to discuss objectives in establishing the new medium. Marketing Week is holding a one-day conference on the subject to take place at the Cafe Royal on 31 January.

Chaired by Quentin Howard, chief executive of Digital One, the UK’s national digital radio network, key speakers will include Phil Riley, chief executive of Chrysalis, Steve Cray, head of Opus Digital and Pete Simmons from Capital. Subjects up for discussion will include the role of branding in the new digital market, the impact on analogue radio and evaluating commercial digital radio’s dependency on advertising.
