Haines Quits Leagas Delaney

Bruce Haines, chairman of agency Leagas Delaney, has announced that he is to leave the company with immediate effect. It is thought that his decision maybe as a result of clashing with chief executive Tim Delaney over his commitments to the IPA.

IPA director general Hamish Pringle said today: “While the reason that Bruce is leaving Leagas Delaney is a matter for him and Leagas Delaney, we are delighted to confirm that he will continue as president of the IPA for the foreseeable future.”

The constitution of the IPA gives members, including officers, six month’s grace in which to find new employment with an IPA member agency. After this time, a membership extension is possible in exceptional circumstances if agreed by the governing Council.
