TalkSPORT’s Bleakley Goes To Emap Advertising

Tim Bleakley has been appointed head of broadcast sales at Emap Advertising. The appointment comes after Bleakley, the founder and managing director of Impact, the Wireless Group’s national sales house, made a sudden departure from TalkSPORT sales last month (see Bleakley Quits Impact).

Dave King, managing director of Emap Advertising, said: “I have known Tim for a while and he’s a class act. The broadcast product at Emap Advertising is in pretty good shape, but I know with Tim’s leadership we will take it even further. We are striving to be a customer centric organisation and Tim is a craftsman in the art of effective selling.”

Bleakley’s new role will see him leading the sales for the Big City, Kiss and Magic networks. He will also drive revenue and value for Emap’s TV portfolio, including the small screen versions of Kiss, Magic, The Box, Smash Hits, Q and Kerrang.
