ITC Appoints New Head Of Public Affairs

The current head of press and publicity at BBC Wales, Huw Rossiter, is to join the Independent Television Commission (ITC) as head of public affairs. In his new role Rossiter will manage the press office team and information centre and help implement the organisation’s publicity and lobbying plans.

Rossiter joined the BBC in 1982 as publicity officer for educational broadcasting. He went on to work as a publicist for TV documentaries and religious programmes and as chief publicity feature writer, before moving to the BBC Wales job in Cardiff nine years ago.
