ITV Signs Deal With NTL

ITV has signed a deal with NTL, the UK’s largest cable network, to carry its new sports channel.

The deal will mean that a further 2m viewers will be able to subscribe to ITV Sport when it launches on 11 August. The channel will also be carried on ONdigital, which has today rebranded as ITV Digital.

ITV’s Sport Channel, will cost subscribers £6.99 a month and offers more in-depth coverage of the Nationwide League.80 live matches will be screened on Thursdays and Sundays and 24-hour coverage will complement that screened by ITV1.
