BTLookSmart Lands Estate Agent Deals

Search targeted marketing company, BTLookSmart, has announced a series of advertising deals with online real-estate companies Assertahome, Fish4homes, Smart Estates and Primelocation.com.
The deals will see the sites employ BTLookSmart’s search targeted marketing services to attract people browsing online for properties to buy or rent. The service runs through MSN, BT Openworld, Tiscali, NTL Home, UK Plus and AltaVista.
Commenting on the deals, BTLookSmart’s COO, Kevin Kerrigan, said: “Despite the general downturn in advertising revenues, the online sector continues to grow because of the level of return on investment in search-targeted marketing.”
According to Kerrigan, search targeted marketing offers return on investment (ROI) rates that are typically 5-10 times higher than other forms of advertising (see NewsLine Column: A New Phenomenon In Advertising?).
Last week internet search engine, Google, launched a new cost-per-click advertising service called AdWords (see Google Enters Cost-Per-Click Market).
