AlixPartners’ Serge Lupas is joining research and consulting company Kantar to head up its media division, succeeding Andy Brown.
Lupas joins Kantar on a secondment from AlixPartners, where he has spent seven years as managing director of their UK TMT practice. Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions at Abraaj Capital and Portfolio Companies, Signal Invest and Tiscali.
“Serge has excellent experience and credentials from across the technology, media, advertising and communications landscape,” said Kantar chairman Adam Crozier.
“He brings to us over 20 years of leadership and extensive expertise in improving, building and transforming global, digital businesses. He will focus on delivering against our plans for 2020, and a plan for the longer term.”
Lupas begins the role with immediate effect.
Kantar claims that its media division is “expert” in understanding the changing media landscape, including audience measurement, consumer targeting and in-depth intelligence into paid, owned and earned media.
