With just 50 days to go until Christmas, Sky Active has launched a new shopping service dedicated to all things festive.
The channel will be called ‘Christmas Gifts’ and is available to all Sky Digital subscribers. It will stock a wide variety of products from around 60 high street retailers.
Sky will be running a number of promotions across its network in the coming weeks offering discounts and promotions for the channel. The portal was developed by Sky Active, with collaboration from Altura International and Fernhart New Media.
Sky’s interactive service has proved popular with both advertisers and viewers. More than 3 million votes have been cast on Sky News Active’s interactive platform since its introduction in March 2001 (see Sky News Boosts Online Output) and OMDtvi recently launched a second interactive campaign for the cosmetics brand Rimmel on the Sky platform (see OMDtvi Gets Interactive With New Rimmel Campaign).
