Carlton Screen Advertising Retains UCI Contract

Carlton Screen Advertising has renewed its contract with UCI cinemas allowing it continue selling advertising across UCI’s 386 cinema screens in the UK.

UCI, which specialises in multiplex cinemas, has been part of Carlton Screen Advertising’s portfolio since 1985. The company’s current portfolio includes AMC, Odeon, Cineworld and 65% of all independent UK cinemas.

UK cinema admissions for July totalled 15 million, an increase of 8% on the same period last year, according to the Cinema Advertising Association. Action adventure Minority Report, starring Tom Cruise, topped the July Box Office chart taking £16 million (see Cinema Admissions Soar During July).
