Emap Launches Motorcycle News As TV Format

Emap is launching its weekly Motorcycle News magazine as a television format on Granada Sky Broadcasting’s (GSB) Men & Motors channel later this month.

Presented by Louise Brady, Motorcycle News will launch on 20 September covering issues and features from the publication, as well as creating its own original content. The show will focus on all areas of the biking world including events, product news, road tests, riding tips and information of insurance and maintenance.

The Men & Motors channel currently has 6.3 million viewers per month, over half of which are men.

Commenting on the launch, GSB’s director of sales for channels, Craig Nayman, said: “This is the beginning of a key commercial partnership and will enhance Men & Motors’ schedule. Bringing the values and attitude of this well-established brand, Motorcycle News promises to be the bike show on UK television.”
