Katie Grosvenor has been chosen to succeed Paul Rowlinson as GroupM’s UK chief customer engagement and growth officer.
She will start in the role in early 2022 and her responsibilities include coordinating strategy and management of GroupM UK’s engagement and growth squad.
Grosvenor is currently head of sales in northern Europe at Integral Ad Science and her experience in media and technology goes back to when she started her career at GroupM media agency MediaCom in 2004.
She was promoted to marketing director at MediaCom in 2011 and global operations director in 2016.
Grosvenor is also chief operations officer at Bloom, a professional network for women in communications.
Rowlinson retired last month and was latterly UK managing director for GroupM Digital for just under four years, until a year ago he was made chief client engagement and growth officer as part of a leadership reshuffle by CEO Karen Blackett.
He previously spent 12 years at Group M agency Mindshare, where he rose to become chief operating officer after several lead investment roles where he led teams of media buyers.
