Tactel Books Pan-European Marie Claire Promotion

The July issue of IPC Southbank’s Marie Claire magazine will include two major advertising deals, one of which takes advantage of the magazine brand’s pan-European reach.

Motorola will have a die-cut insert in the British edition of the magazine, to promote the V70 phone. It will be bound in and printed on heavier stock paper.

Meanwhile, the July issues of the Spanish, Italian, German and British editions of Marie Claire will feature a four page advertorial on heavier stock paper, produced in conjunction with Tactel/Lycra, showing swimwear for the summer season. The supplement will also appear in the August French edition, and it is estimated that the promotion will be seen by around 6.5 million people across the five countries.

IPC Southbank group account manager Alistair Ballantyne commented: “The July Marie Claire is an extremely exciting issue for SouthBank Solutions, and I am delighted that our team has won these two pieces of solus business…I am please that Marie Claire is now being fully utilised as a pan-European promotional vehicle.”
