Integrated marketing services company New Media Industries (NMI) has been awarded the £3.5m contract to handle advertising for car dealership network H R Owen.
NMI, which secured the contract after a seven-way pitch, will be responsible for H R Owen’s entire advertising campaign including media planning, buying and strategy, print and poster activity, interactive projects and direct marketing. H R Owen currently produces 4,500 ads each year and will continue to do so through NMI, which will also handle the creative work for the campaign.
Commenting on the deal, H R Owen’s operations director, Barry Green, said: “With increasing pressure on our sales and marketing team, and a strong desire to move our business forward aggressively, we needed to find a partner that not only understood our business, but could handle all of it. After an exhaustive process we firmly settled on NMI, who demonstrated a clear understanding of the strategic issues ahead and offered a completed integrated solution that encompassed every aspect of our marketing operations.”
NMI, which counts Adidas, Emap and Sony amongst its clients, was recently appointed to handle the UK launch of new technology that allows video and media rich messages to be sent via email and GSM networks (see NMI To Handle Launch Of New Video Messaging Tool).
