SFX Launches Special Buffy Collector’s Guide

Future Publishing’s science fiction magazine, SFX, is to launch a special one off edition dedicated entirely to Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

The SFX Unofficial Buffy Collector’s Guide will contain 116 pages devoted to the popular television programme and will be covermounted 24-page booklet of photographs of the Buffy cast. The magazine will also contain a comprehensive guide to each of the 144 episodes of the show.

Commenting on this latest SFX brand extension, editor, Dave Golder, said: “Not only was Buffy witty, exciting, and full of emotional resonance, but it opened up a whole new audience for fantasy TV.”

He added: “It’s been a firm favourite with our readers throughout its run and will be sorely missed. The SFX Unofficial Buffy Collector’s Guide is our tribute, in SFX’s inimitable style, to this truly excellent series.”

The SFX Buffy special, which goes on sale on 4 September, will come packaged in a cardboard slipcase and will have a cover price of £4.99.
