Homes And Gardens Secures G.P & J Baker For Special Promotion
IPC’s flagship interiors magazine, Homes and Gardens has joined forces with fabric manufacturer G.P & J. Baker to give-away a fabric covered notebook with October’s issue.
The cover-mounted notebook is designed to raise awareness of Baker’s Blue Anglais fabric collection.
Commenting on the partnership, Isobel McKenzie-Price, editor of Homes & Gardens said: “Giving readers an extra special notebook covered in G P & J. Baker’s Bleu Anglais design seemed like the perfect way to bring this year’s Fabric Awards to life, literally placing the winning design from our 2002 Awards in the hands of consumers.”
She continued: “The notebook will appear just as we announce our 2003 winners and is the culmination of a year of editorial coverage for Bleu Anglais.”
The latest ABC results for the six months ending June 2003 revealed a turbulent time for the home interest sector, with steep declines at key titles. However, Homes and Gardens experienced a 3.4% year on year increase in circulation, which rose to 161,553.
IPC’s flagship men’s lifestyle magazine, Loaded recently appointed Martin Daubney as its new editor following Scott Manson’s decision to step down to launch a new youth title (see IPC’s Loaded Appoints Daubney As New Editor).
