Digital marketing analytics company Ask Bosco will host its annual industry charity cycle ride in the Chiltern Hills on 22 September.
Ask Bosco is organising the ride with its sister business Ride25 for senior digital marketers, agency, ecommerce, brand and retail professionals to network, cycle and donate to charity 1moreChild, which runs an orphanage in Jinja, Uganda.
At the event there will be a charity raffle and auction and any surplus ticket revenues will be donated to the charity.
In a feature last year, The Media Leader spoke with industry professionals about how cycling has become an increasingly popular activity within the media community.
Cycling is absolutely the new golf in media because it’s inclusive, unlike golf you’re riding as a team no matter your seniority or ability, everyone wants everyone to do well.”
Melissa Cafferkey, agency partner at Clear Channel UK.
The route starts and ends at Henley-on-Thames Rugby Club and is described as challenging but suitable for regular cyclists. Interested parties can sign up here.
