Emap Advertising Introduces New Business Director

Emap Advertising has further boosted its management team with the promotion of sales controller, Zoe Bartlett, to the new position of business director.
Bartlett will report directly to managing director, Dave King and will take responsibility for developing customer relations, as well as identifying new business opportunities amongst both existing and potential clients. The appointment reflects Emap Advertising’s strategy of fostering stronger relations with clients and agencies.
The role of sales director will be taken on by Theresa Coligan, who is currently sales director of magazines. Coligan will take on an expanded portfolio including more global responsibilities across the department.
Dave King, managing director of Emap Advertising, commented: “Customer service has been a crucial part of our business plan in 2002 and we are extremely pleased with the results. The reaction from clients and the industry has been extremely positive and we are keen to continue our solid commitment to ensuring Emap Advertising remains a customer centric business in 2003.”
Emap’s recently appointed chief executive, Tom Moloney (see Emap Appoints Moloney As New Chief Executive), laid out his strategy for the group earlier this week. This will include a renewed focus on business to business titles and a £20 million investment in new product launches (see Moloney Gets Back To Business At Emap).
