David Abraham, co-founder and group CEO of Wonderhood Studios and former CEO of Channel 4, will be the headliner at The Future of Brands next week.
Abraham co-founded Wonderhood in 2018 — an independent company driven by world-class creativity. The group has created award-winning campaigns for Three, Starling Bank, Macmillan Cancer Support, Nike and YouTube, as well as acclaimed documentary films and factual series for the BBC, Sky, Channel 4 and Bloomberg.
In this headline interview, Abraham will dig into the modern world of brands and the evolving role of the agency with The Media Leader’s editor-in-chief, Omar Oakes. They will discuss whether media should come first in creative decision-making and whether the “big idea” — pure artistic expression and storytelling — is finally over for brands.
Furthermore, Abraham will share his thoughts on whether the right equilibrium between media and creativity can be found in numbers, whether imagination can be overtaken by equations and, ultimately, what impact this will all have on the future of the brands.
Abraham said: “Looking forward to joining The Future of Brands, delving into what an increasingly fragmented media landscape means for brands and agencies today and what we can do about it. See you all there.”
The Future of Brands, held by The Media Leader and Adwanted Events, will take place in London on 17 April.
