Rajar Q2 2025

Online listening has recorded a record share of 29.1%, according to the latest Rajar figures.

This was mostly driven by an increase in smart speaker listening, which accounted for 189m hours per week and up 8m from the last quarter.

Other online listening from websites and apps grew by 1m hours to 112m per week.

AM/FM listening now accounts for just over a quarter (26.6%) of total listening.

Total digital listening, which also includes DTV and DAB, remained flat due to both DTV and DAB losing 4m hours each. Bauer has now removed the DTV platform from all their stations and this explains some of the drop.

Reach for all platforms dropped this quarter in line with a slight decline in total radio listening.
