Rajar Q4 2025: Online listening records record platform share

Rajar Q4 2025

Online listening has recorded a record share of 29.8%, according to the latest Rajar figures.

This is well ahead of AM/FM which now accounts for just over a quarter (25.4%) of total listening.

Partly driving this increase is smart speaker listening, which accounts for a total of 188m hours, marking a 2m-hour increase from the previous quarter. Listening is also up year-on-year from 16.1% in Q4 2024 to 18.5% in Q4 2025.

Apps and website listening saw a slight decline this quarter from 118m hours to 115m hours.

Total digital listening, which also includes DTV and DAB, increased slightly with a 2m-hour increase in both.

Reach for all digital platforms decreased marginally reflective of a slight decrease in all radio listening, despite digital platforms increasing their share overall.
