New BBC One Drama Beats Big Brother

Sorted BBC One was the winner of last night’s ratings battle, with the premier episode of new drama Sorted beating Channel 4’s Big Brother at 9pm.

The new programme, created by Shameless writer Danny Brocklehurst, follows the lives and times of a group of Manchester posties. The first episode landed the drama with a peak of 4.3 million adult viewers, or a 21.9% viewing share, compared to BB‘s peak of 3.9 million (20%).
