OFT Clears Times
The OFT has rejected the claim by The Independent that the Times’ price cut to 30p was predatory pricing.
Another court victory was achieved by The Times when the Mail On Sunday agreed not to infringe copyright by publishing material based on Margaret Thatcher’s memoirs.
The 150th birthday issue of the News Of The World (Oct 3rd) sold 4,858,000 copies. Monthly average sales for October’92 were 4,709,000; August ’93 average was 4,697,000.
