BBC One’s Ghosts More Rewarding Than ITV1’s Rich List

BBC Logo The second part in the new series of BBC One’s Sea Of Souls provide more alluring for viewers than finding out who’s up and down in Britain’s Rich List.

The concluding part of the ghostly drama series, starring Bill Patterson, attracted an adult audience of 3.9 million between 9pm and 10pm, with peak of 4.2 million during the last fifteen minutes.

Over on ITV1, Britain’s Rich List had an average of 3.3 million adults for the period from 9pm to 10.30pm, peaking at 3.6 million at around 9.45pm.

On Five, House continues to perform strongly. Last night’s edition attracted 2 million adults and had a viewing share of 10.3%, comfortably beating BBC2’s comedy zone programming and Channel 4’s Secret Life documentary (which had 1 million adult viewers).

Early in the evening the close ratings battle between Waterloo Road and The Bill, saw the police drama serial come out on top. The Bill had 4.4 million adults watching, while BBC One’s school drama was watched by 4 million.

The most watched programme of the night was EastEnders which had 6.5 million viewers, the next best offering being Emmerdale which had 6.3 million.
