ABC Launches Group Product Report

ABC Logo ABC has today launched the Group Product Report, which allows media owners to publicise their ABC audited and verified figures across media platforms on the same report.

Publishers and media owners can choose to produce a Group Product Report alongside their usual ABC certificates, with the report being updated every time new data becomes available.

ABC certifies and provides audit services to verify the circulation figures of newspapers and magazines, attendance at exhibitions and performance data across a range of digital media, through its digital arm ABC Electronic. The Group Product Report allows media owners to report their figures across brands and various platforms in one easy to use report.

The report includes historic data and charts, visual representations of the products and brands, and all the information included on the individual certificates.

Chris Boyd, chief executive at ABC, said: “The introduction of the Group Product Report will provide media owners with an important trading tool.

“A single resource for a media group to report all relevant figures will aid selling, and help media owners to prove their audiences across various platforms and channels. Buyers and advertisers will benefit from having all the available data in just one single report.

“As a leading trading currency, ABC is focussed on delivering to the fast evolving needs of the industry. The introduction of this report is just one of many exciting developments currently underway.”

The World Association of Newspapers (WAN) recently launched an initiative aimed at developing a new measurement standard for newspaper readership across print and digital (see WAN To Develop Measurement Standard For Digital And Print Newspapers).

MediaTel.co.uk has itself added a new report, which allows subscribers to access a publication’s print and online audience data in one table.

The new service allows users to select newspapers and/or magazines, and see the circulation of the publication (ABC, VFD, BDP or BPA) alongside the number of unique users and page impressions for the publication’s website (ABCe audited, NNR or publisher’s statement).

Trends in the number of unique users or page impressions are available for each website.

The report can be found in both the Online and Press databases and is called ‘Combined Press/Online Figures’. For help running reports or logging on to MediaTel.co.uk please call our helpdesk on 020 7439 7575.
