Top Up TV Adds Disney Programmes To Its VOD Service

Top Up TV, Freeview’s pay TV provider, is set to expand its video-on-demand service by adding over 400 hours of extra content a year, after signing a deal with Disney-ABC-ESPN.

The Top Up TV Anytime service will now feature shows like Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost and Desperate Housewives.

The new deal was brokered by Disney-ABC-ESPN Television’s Holly Blackham and Top Up TV’s Dianne Walker.

Top Up TV Anytime is a subscription based service that is available via a digital recorder and, currently offers viewers hundreds of hours of TV shows across a range of channels.

Earlier this month, Top Up TV joined forces with mobile company PlayPhone to launch a TV channel called PlayPhone Hits.
