The fastest-growing media in 2007 were internet (up 39.5%), cinema (up 10.1%) and outdoor and transport (up 4.6%). Cinema benefited from increased admissions due to a strong film line-up while expenditure on outdoor was boosted by ongoing digitisation of the medium.
In April, the IAB and PwC released research which found that online advertising grew almost 40% year on year in 2007 to a new high of over £2.8 billion.
