Big Brother’s Alex Kicked Out For Gangster Threats

Alex From Big Brother Channel 4’s Big Brother has removed Alex from the house after she threatened fellow housemates with intimidation from her ‘gangster friends’ outside.

Ofcom has received more than 1500 complaints about this series of Big Brother and has issued this notice on its website – “Ofcom is aware of viewer concerns and the issues raised by complainants. Ofcom is currently monitoring the situation and will decide on whether to launch an investigation.”

More than 2.9 million adult viewers tuned in to see Alex argue with and threaten housemates last night, after finding out she was up for eviction with Mario this week.

Tonight’s audience is expected to soar as viewers will see Alex being removed from the house after just 2 weeks for her intimidating behaviour, following two previous warnings.

Big Brother booted out contestant Emily Parr last year for using racially offensive language (see Big Bro Contestant Booted Off For Racist Comment).

BBC One’s Eastenders one-hour special attracted 7.8 million adult viewers last night between 8 – 9pm.

While the rest of the square enjoyed the Best of British night in the Queen Vic, the Doctor May storyline finally came to a head as she managed to cause Walford’s first gas explosion.

Against strong competition, ITV1’s Euro 2008 match pulled in a 19.2% audience share – a peak of 5 million adult viewers at 9pm – which saw Russia beat Sweden 2 – 0.
