ABC Results Jul-Dec 2007:Xbox World 360 And Official Nintendo Magazine Record Big Increases In Circulation
Both Xbox World 360 and Official Nintendo Magazine enjoyed large circulation increases for the six month period to the end of December. Both titles were up by around 37% each year on year.
Xbox World 360 now has a total circulation figure of nearly 32,000 copies, while Official Nintendo Magazine‘s circulation has risen to almost 59,000 copies.
Official Xbox 360 also reported an increase in its total figure, of almost 11,000 copies, taking its circulation to nearly 67,000.
It was a good period for those magazines focusing on the Xbox 360, with X360 magazine also seeing its circulation rise, by almost 17% to just under 33,000 copies.
However, there were declines in the gaming magazine sector, with PC Zone falling by around 17.5% year on year, to more than 22,000 copies.
PSW (formerly Playstation World) was also down, by around 16% from a year previously, leaving its total at just under 22,000.
In the computer magazine sector MacFormat and PC Format both have similar circulation figures, of almost 24,000 copies each.
However, this followed a year on year rise of 20% for MacFormat and a fall of around 16.5% for PC Format.
The other two titles in the sector, Windows Vista – The Official Magazine and Personal Computer World, reported circulations of almost 28,000 copies and around 60,000 copies respectively.
