TV Shares And Revenues – August 1994

The combined ITV/C4 revenue for August has been estimated at £127m, representing a year on year increase of 9.6%, and continues the upward trend which has been apparent since the beginning of the year.

The individual ITV and C4 revenue figures of £100.56m and £26.44m both highlight year on year improvements with C4 up an incredible 27.4%.

The best contractor performance came from Carlton with a 17% share of revenue, up 1.3% points on August 1993, although 1994 had 1 extra trading day.

As has been the case every month so far this year the worst performance has come from the combined YTTV with a 11.13% share, down 2.16% points on last year.
