Following the success of its sponsorship of the ITV Chart Show, Twix is to sponsor a 90 minute Bank Holiday Special, In The Air Tonight, a show celebrating 21 years of Virgin Records.
In The Air Tonight, from Carlton Television, will be hosted by Harry Enfield, and will be broadcast at 8pm on May 30, Bank Holiday Monday. The deal was organised by Andy Thompson, sponsorship manager at Carlton Television. He commented, “The continued investment in television sponsorship by major brands such as Twix, is very encouraging indeed. This renewed commitment illustrates the confidence that marketeers now have in television sponsorship.”
