WPP Group, whose companies include JWT, Ogilvy & Mather, International Research and Millward Brown, has announced results for the year ending 31 December 1993 Pre-tax profits are up 600% from £7.76m to £54.35m.
The company also announced plans for a stock market flotation of its world- wide market research operations, worth an estimated £133m. Up to 50% of the market research operations look set to be floated off by the second quarter of the year.
It is still not decided whether there will be a New York or London listing.
