Emap’s bid for Trans World Communications is to be the subject of a judicial review, following a successful application by Guardian Media, owner of 20% of Trans World. Guardian Media has questioned the legality of Emap’s scheme to transfer two of its existing licences to Schroders, despite the fact it has been approved by the Radio Authority.
