The government’s proposed relaxation in poster planning laws has caused an angry reaction from poster contractors; there are fears that a reduction in restrictions will open the industry up to less scrupulous contractors.
The existing planning regulations are inconsistent due to individual town planners. There have been calls for the Outdoor Advertising Association to review the situation.
